2. Device Permission Usage
To perform its core video download and gallery features, the App adaptively requests standard Android system permissions. Here is what we request and why:

3. Local SQLite Room Database & File Cache
All app states, history entries, and cached files are stored locally on your device:
- SQLite database: Keeps track of active download progress, sizes, dates, and filenames. This data remains completely inside your phone's secure sandboxed app environment.
- Cache: Used to temporarily store images and media components. You can clear the cache at any time directly through SaveMate's Settings screen.
4. Compliance & Intellectual Property Disclaimer
SaveMate is an independent mobile utility app developed to download public media contents.
- No Affiliation: SaveMate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, or any other social platform.
- User Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for respecting copyrights, intellectual property rights, and terms of service of respective media creators and platforms. Do not download, redistribute, or reuse copyrighted content without proper owner authorizations.
